Lesson on Learning From our Mistakes

Students watched the video from Discovery Streaming, titled, "Buddy Learns Life Lessons: Buddy Learns From His Mistakes". Buddy discussed the four rules for being successful in school: 1) Keep Trying 2) Learn from our mistakes 3) Ask for help when you need it. I also added a fourth rule to buddy's list....telling ourselves we CAN do it! Buddy talks about the importance of a positive attitude. If we tell ourselves we CAN'T do something it is more likely we won't be able to so we need to tell ourselves we can :) Students took home the attached poster as a reminder.
